Be a Tour Guide for kids! Help children travel the different continents during Sunday School each week by guiding them to their classes and assisting Sunday School Teachers during class. If you have questions or want to volunteer, contact Kim George, 817-460-4212, Ext. 722, or email kim@nwumc.org
Teaching Rotation Sunday School isn't your normal Sunday School teaching obligation in our Children's Ministry. Teachers are asked to teach three weeks in a row, teaching the same lesson in the same workshop. For example, if you taught in Antarctica you would teach a different grade level in the same classroom for three weeks and then your obligation is done! No year-long commitments. You can teach again as your schedule permits. If you have questions or want to volunteer, contact Kim George, 817-460-4212, Ext. 722, or email kim@nwumc.org
Since 1978, Arlington Charities has endeavored to feed the hungry and clothe the poor. Volunteers to sort and hang donated clothing are always needed, and you can work at your convenience. Pantry helpers receive training on how to pack groceries for different size families. The agency is open Monday - Friday, 9 AM to Noon. Call Darlene, Volunteer Coordinator, at 817-275-1511, for additional information. Audrey Koepp is the New World contact person.
