Student Ministry
New World UMC Student Ministry is a ministry of NWUMC that exists to not just help students Love God, Love their Neighbor, and to Make Disciples, but to be a place for students to find community with individuals their own age and adults who care to invest in them.
New World UMC Student Ministry is open to students from 6th-12th grade. Sunday night Youth Gathering is open to 5th-12th. This is so 5th graders can become comfortable and involved with Student Ministries for when they join in 6th grade.

Listed below is what a typical Sunday looks like for the youth at New World. We strive to be a welcoming community that guides students to develop a stronger faith in Christ through study, fellowship, outreach, and worship. Most importantly, we are servants and disciples of Jesus!

Sunday Worship  9:30 am
-Students attend the 9:30 am Contemporary Worship Service. They are encouraged to sit with their families or with other youth
Sunday School  11:00 am
-Youth Sunday School meets in the Youth Rooms in the education wing during the 11:00 am hour. The Youth room opens at 10:30 am for the Youth to enjoy fun and fellowship before Sunday School begins
Sunday Night 5:00 – 7:00pm
-Youth Gathering meets in the Fellowship Hall. This is a time designed for worship and fellowship through many different outlets. Every week we’ll have games, a message for the youth, food, and lots of fun!
